This streamlined and enhanced process captures the product's test point XY locations and delivers them to a CNC table equipped with a vision system. Each test point specified in the product's test requirements is located, an image is captured, and then stored for review. Each image is stamped with the test point's XY location, node name and number, and interface location. While this process has already significantly benefited our quality team and customers, there is still room for further improvement.
A high-level overview may seem basic, but it offers substantial benefits to our customers. A test fixture is designed and manufactured, the customer provides us with a current revision unpopulated circuit board, which is loaded into the test fixture and actuated. The product is then transferred to our internal CNC machine, files are loaded, and images are captured. Following this, each test point location is reviewed by one of our expert quality team members.
